NMMA names new manager for Chicago show

By IBI Magazine

According to a statement issued from the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), Keith Ogulnick has been hired as show manager for two Chicago-area shows. He will run the Chicago Boat, RV & Outdoors Show January 17-21, 2007 and the new Schaumburg Boat & Sportshow that begins February 14-18, 2007 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center.

Ogulnick has more than 25 years of consumer and trade show experience. Before joining NMMA, Ogulnick was a show manager with Cygnus Enterprises in Burnsville, Minn., where he oversaw the development of several construction trade shows.

"Keith is an experienced professional in the consumer and trade show industry and we look forward to him joining our Chicago team," said Mark Adams, NMMA vice president of sportshows in a statement. "He brings a great deal of show knowledge to this position."

Before working with Cygnus, Ogulnick served as vice president, education and events, for the Chicago-based Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA). His responsibilities included direction of TSEA's annual conference, TS2 - the Trade Show About Trade Shows, as well as all ancillary education such as audio conferences, web-based education, and stand-alone education programs.

Ogulnick was also former show manager for the Chicagoland Sportfishing, Travel & Outdoor Show for more than a decade. His past show experience also includes work with the National Sporting Good Association and Advanstar Communications.
