Sunsail opens new sailing school

Sunsail, a UK provider of flotilla sailing and yacht charter holidays worldwide, has opened a new sailing school in the British Virgin Islands. Sunsail BVI, which opens for business on December 16, is based at Maya Cove in the heart of the Caribbean. The new school will offer-five day training courses that are fully endorsed by the UK's Royal Yachting Association (RYA), including RYA Competent Crew or Day Skipper courses.
"The waters of the British Virgin Islands are ideal for sailing, with regular trade winds providing steady and comfortable sailing between the islands of the BVI, often known as 'Nature's Little Secrets'," says the company. "The short distances between the islands, their sheltered waters and line of sight navigation make sailing in the BVI a delight, and now with the ability to take a sailing qualification with Sunsail, their appeal is even greater."
